Succumbing to the social pull of what’s normal happens often. We forgo our lives and slip into the expectations of others.
We fear failure. We fear disappointments. We fear who we can be. We fear who we want to be.
Pushed and pulled, we live behind our mask.
Like a snake shedding its skin, we have to shed our fears and begin living our lives. We can’t be afraid of life before we can even begin to experience it.
After all, we can learn to appreciate the gains from our failures. Disappointments helps us measure our strength’s threshold for obstacles. Acceptance of self is freeing. It allows growth and limitless possibilities.
Acknowledge who you are- be well within, because it starts from our inner core. Accept who you are- live, liberated.
