Here’s the thing about my reviews… I typically review things that I’m interested in buying for myself. I try to give a very honest review of the product. Since I’m not going to like all things and not all products may be best for me, I may actually give a “bad” review. Most of the times though, because of my interest in the product, my reviews are usually good ones (knock on wood).
I do fashion blogs as well.. but I believe that without individuality and confidence, things like this can go stale. So, my menswear and women’s wear editions will usually have my husband’s or my personal taste. It’s not going to work for everyone, but just like in fashion it’s best to take inspiration from it and to hell with copying it. Our little niche is that we like to break the rules and add a little bit of our own personal interest incorporated in our outfits.
I sometimes have the habit of treating this like public journal and would write about my day going through moyamoya. I don’t mean for it to be depressing, but rather a window into my world. I want to show the possibilities you can offer life despite the shortcomings.
Obviously, I’m a shopaholic, but also a bargain shopper. You’ll see a lot of this on my site. Birchbox hauls, Julep, Forever21… anything really. I love a good QUALITY deal. Along with these hauls are the un-boxings from Nerd Block and Julep.
The last thing I want to address is how awesome my subscribers are. I don’t really have anyone un-subscribing, and everyone here is pretty positive. The comments, likes, personal messages, and views speaks volumes into the type of community this blog has become. It’s exactly as I envisioned it… but I know that it has a lot to do with everyone here that’s been so supportive. It made me realize how many people were willing to spread the awareness on their time and learn about a disease that seemed so foreign to them. The constant positive support is absolutely amazing… SO thank you!!! It keeps me blogging EVEN when I’m having a bad day. 🙂
…. this seems so random… but it’s things that I needed to write down and empty out of my mind. Special Edition Blog is coming soon. You guys already had a sneak peek at what my husband and I have been working on from the ComicCon post. The details of it should be posted next week. Again, thanks guys! Have a great weekend.
